Program Focus
Shailka-Robotics builds digital twin programs designed for continuous operational use — not slide-deck demos. Engagements begin with a rigorous asset audit and metadata strategy using OpenUSD composition arcs to structure factory layouts, equipment hierarchies, and material definitions into layered, non-destructive scene graphs that multiple teams can author simultaneously.
The technical approach centers on Omniverse Nucleus as the collaboration backbone, enabling real-time scene aggregation across CAD, BIM, IoT, and simulation data sources. Each twin is architected with explicit separation between geometry layers, telemetry overlays, and simulation surfaces so that facility engineers, operations staff, and leadership each get purpose-built views without duplicating scene data.
Where the program differentiates is in post-deployment sustainability. Rather than delivering a static visualization, the twin is instrumented with live OPC-UA, MQTT, or REST telemetry feeds and structured so that layout changes, equipment swaps, and new sensor installations propagate through the USD layer stack without full re-authoring.
Delivery Methodology
- Discovery & Asset Ingestion — Audit existing CAD/BIM sources; convert to USD with proper scale, orientation, and metadata using Omniverse Connectors.
- Scene Composition Architecture — Define USD layer strategy, naming conventions, variant sets for equipment states, and reference hierarchies.
- Telemetry Integration — Connect live facility signals (OPC-UA, MQTT, historian APIs) to scene prims via Omniverse extension services.
- Stakeholder Views & Dashboards — Build role-specific Kit-based interfaces for operators, engineers, and executives.
- Validation & Handoff — Performance benchmarking, user acceptance testing, documentation, and team training for ongoing scene maintenance.
Technology Stack
- OpenUSD — scene description, composition arcs, layer management
- NVIDIA-Omniverse — real-time collaboration, rendering, and simulation platform
- Omniverse Nucleus — centralized asset management and multi-user collaboration
- Omniverse Kit SDK — custom viewer and dashboard extensions
- Omniverse Connectors — bidirectional sync with Revit, SolidWorks, 3ds Max, and other DCC/CAD tools
- Warp — GPU-accelerated physics kernels for operational simulations
Expected Outcomes
